About the PDF Editor and Signer

Opens PDFs and images as one document to sign, merge, split, reorder, and convert, then saves the result as a PDF or as images.

Every Setting

Add Files
Click it, or drop PDFs and images on the left panel or the page, as many times as you like. Each PDF is listed under Files on its own. A batch of photos becomes one file with a page per photo, iPhone HEIC photos included.
Files
Every file you added. Click one to show and edit its pages, and use × to remove it. The arrows move the file you are on up or down the list.
Merge All
Joins every file into one PDF, top of the list first, keeping page rotations and anything you placed. Undo splits them back apart.
Pages
Thumbnails of the whole document. Click one to show it. Tick the box in its corner to check it, and Shift-click another box to check every page in between. Rotate, move up or down, and delete act on the checked pages, or on the page on screen when nothing is checked. With a mouse you can also drag a thumbnail to a new place; dragging a checked page carries every checked page with it.
Signatures
Three ways to make one: draw it, type it in a handwriting face, or photograph your signature on paper. The paper background is stripped so only the ink lands on the page. Saved signatures stay ready to reuse until you leave the page.
Text, Date, Checkbox, and Cross
Pick one, then click anywhere on the page to place it at that exact spot, in the size and color you choose. Undo covers every step.
Image Pages
Appears once the document has photos in it. Fit Image makes each page the shape of its photo. A4 and Letter turn each sheet to match its photo and fit the photo inside. Photos the camera stored sideways come out upright.
Split
Splits the file you are editing into new files, right here. Every Page makes a file per page. Every N Pages starts a new file every N pages. Page Ranges takes numbers like 1-3, 5, 8-10 and makes one file per range, and 8- runs to the last page. Checked Pages splits the checked pages off into their own file. With Page Ranges and Checked Pages, any pages left over go into a last file ending in -rest, so nothing is lost. A preview lists every file, by name and pages, before you split. The new files replace the original in the Files list, where you can review, rename, and download them; Undo puts it back together.
Save as Images
Saves pages of the file you are editing as PNG or JPEG. Small, Medium, and Large are 72, 150, and 300 pixels per inch; each button shows the pixel size the page on screen comes out at, and the note under Download Images estimates its file size. Save every page or only the checked ones; more than one image downloads as a ZIP.
File Name
The name the file you are editing downloads under. It starts as the file’s own name, marked edited or signed; whatever you type is used exactly, and the Files list follows it.
Download
Download PDF, at the top of the right panel, saves the file you are editing with every page in its current order. With more than one file it reads Download This File, and Download All Files saves each file as its own PDF, together in a ZIP. Signatures, text, and ticks are baked into every download, split file, and image.
Close Document
Clears everything to start over; with several files it reads Close All Files. With unsaved changes it asks for a second click first.

Common Questions

How do I merge PDFs?
Add the PDFs with Add Files or by dropping them on the left panel. Put them in order with the arrows under Files, press Merge All, then arrange the pages if needed and download.
How do I split a PDF?
Pick how under Split, check the preview of the files it will make, then press Split. Each new file appears under Files to review and download, one at a time or all together.
Can I edit several PDFs and download each one?
Yes. Add them all, click each file under Files to sign or fix it, then use Download All Files to get each one back as its own PDF.
Can I turn photos into a PDF?
Yes. Add or drop the photos and each becomes a page. Choose A4 or Letter under Image Pages for printable sheets.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Editing happens entirely in your browser.
Can it edit the PDF’s existing text?
No. It places new content on top, which covers signing, dating, and form-filling; rewriting existing paragraphs needs a full PDF suite.
