1200×630 is the size every platform accepts and scales down from.
Keep the headline inside the middle 90%. Slack and Discord crop the edges.
Under 1 MB. Some crawlers skip larger files and your card falls back to plain text.
Text has to survive a 300px-wide preview in a chat window.
