Web & Brand
The polish a launch-ready site needs, from the favicon to the share card.
The assets a site needs before launch
A site can be finished and still look unfinished, because the pieces that surround it are missing. No favicon, so the tab shows a blank sheet. No Open Graph image, so a link pasted into Slack unfurls as a bare URL. Brand colors that fail contrast on the one button that matters.
These are all small, one-time jobs that are easy to defer and then forget. The tools here are sized to that: open one, produce the file, paste the markup, move on.
The favicon generator emits every size a browser might ask for plus the manifest and the HTML block to paste. The OG image maker builds the 1200 by 630 card and can prefill from a URL so the text matches the page. The contrast checker measures against the WCAG thresholds rather than leaving you to guess.
Common questions
What favicon sizes do I actually need in 2026?
An SVG for modern browsers, a 32 pixel ICO at the site root because browsers request favicon.ico whether or not you declare it, and a 180 pixel apple-touch-icon. Everything else is optional.
What size should an Open Graph image be?
1200 by 630 pixels. That is the ratio Slack, iMessage, LinkedIn and X all render without cropping, and it is the size the OG image maker exports by default.
What contrast ratio does text need to pass?
4.5 to 1 for body text and 3 to 1 for large text, which means 24 pixels or 18.66 pixels bold. Logos and disabled controls are exempt.
